Privacy &Cookie Policy

How we handle your data and cookies, in plain language, as the Danish Data Protection Agency recommends.

Last updated: 21 July 2026

Who is responsible for your data

LynticAI ApS (CVR 46493265) is the data controller for this website, registered at Margretheholmsvej 6, 2. tv, 1432 København K. We are a two-person B2B consultancy. For any privacy question, to exercise your rights, or to withdraw a consent, contact us at hello@lynticai.com.

Given our size and the limited, non-sensitive data we handle, we are not required to appoint a Data Protection Officer. Privacy requests are handled directly by the founders at the address above.

What we collect, and why

Contact form. When you send us a message we process the name, email address, optional company name and the message you write. We use it only to read and reply to your enquiry. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to you and, where your enquiry concerns working together, taking steps toward a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f) and 6(1)(b)). The message is delivered to our inbox by our email provider; we do not store it in a separate database and we never use it for marketing.

Statistics. If, and only if, you allow the Statistics category, we use Google Analytics 4 to measure aggregate, anonymised traffic (which pages are visited, roughly where visitors arrive from) so we can improve the site. Our legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). See the “Analytics and transfers to the USA” section below.

Your cookie choice. We store your consent choice locally in your browser so we do not ask again on every visit. This is strictly necessary to respect your preference and does not track you (Art. 6(1)(f)).

If you become a client. Outside this website, delivering our services means processing ordinary contact and billing data to fulfil our agreement (Art. 6(1)(b)); invoices and accounting records are kept for 5 years as required by the Danish Bookkeeping Act (Art. 6(1)(c)).

We only process ordinary personal data. We do not collect special-category (“sensitive”) data, such as health, race, religion or political views, through this website.

Cookies and similar technologies

“Cookies” here also covers similar technologies such as local storage. We use two categories:

Necessary. One item of local storage (key lyntic-consent) that remembers your cookie choice. It sets no tracking identifier and is exempt from the consent requirement, but you are entitled to know it exists.

Statistics (requires consent). If you opt in, Google Analytics sets cookies such as _ga and _ga_<id> (expiring after 24 months) to measure traffic. No statistics cookies are set before you consent, and if you decline, Google Analytics is never loaded.

You give consent by an active choice in our banner, and nothing non-essential runs until you do, with no pre-ticked boxes. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time (see below).

Analytics and transfers to the USA

Google Analytics 4 is provided by Google Ireland Ltd., but processing it can involve transferring data (for example your IP address and usage events) to Google LLC in the United States.

This transfer is lawful because Google is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, for which the European Commission has issued an adequacy decision. That is our transfer basis. Where a provider is not covered by that framework, transfers rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

We use Google Consent Mode: analytics only runs after you opt in, and we signal your choice to Google so no advertising use is made of your data.

Who we share it with

We use a small set of processors to run the site, each acting only on our documented instructions under a data processing agreement (DPA):

Resend (email delivery of contact-form messages), Google (Google Analytics 4, statistics), and Vercel (hosting). Some of these providers are based in, or may transfer data to, the USA under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and/or the Standard Contractual Clauses. We do not sell your data.

How long we keep it

Enquiry emails are kept only as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up, then deleted. Analytics data is retained for 14 months. Accounting records are kept for 5 years as required by the Danish Bookkeeping Act.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to processing, and to data portability. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. To exercise any of these, email hello@lynticai.com.

Changing or withdrawing consent

Use the Cookie settings link in the footer of any page to reopen the consent panel and change your choice. Withdrawing consent stops further analytics collection immediately, and it is as easy to withdraw as it was to give.

Complaints

If you believe we handle your data unlawfully, please contact us first at hello@lynticai.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet), www.datatilsynet.dk.

Changes to this policy
